ISMA AWARDS BANQUET CONCLUDES 2002 SEASON;

LUCAS OIL ANNOUNCED AS TITLE SPONSOR FOR 2003

ISMA president Chuck Handley, ISMA 2002 Car Owner of the Year Paul Dunigan, ISMA 2002
Driver of the Year and ISMA vice-president Howie Lane. Dunigan won an unprecedented
7th ISMA title while Wood picked up his sixth.

A huge announcement was made regarding ISMAıs new title sponsor for 2003. Lucas Oil,
major backer of many racing organizations nationally, has agreed to sponsor the
traveling supermodified group next season. Vicki Rabozzi, Judy McKnight,
Kathy Martel and Barb Soule present the new banners to the elated group.

Miller, owner and chief wrench of the Miller-Perley 11.

with the ISMA Achievement award. Furlong had two feature wins in his
inaugural season with the group.

Bell, driver of the Soule Racing 32, with the ISMA Most Improved Award for
2002. Bell got the current Soule team its first feature win this year.

Chris Perley team with hats and shirts going to all. Perley and Lana and Vic

efforts as the ISMA scorer for many seasons. ISMA president Chuck Handley
did the honors.

Murphy was presented the prestigious Jim Shampine Memorial award for the
third time since the awardıs inception in 1991.

hard work in an often-thankless job as ISMA tech inspector.

Ruth Koch (left) and wife Barb. Jim Soule was an ISMA member from the clubıs inception until his passing several years ago. Son Dan has carried on the family tradition of campaigning a supermodified on the ISMA trail.
