Some tight
racing here, to get into the top five, between Jeff Holbrook 35,
Justin Belfiore 98 and Bob Magner 41. Belfiore went on to get
fifth, while Magner and Holbrook were just behind in sixth and
seventh.
Mark Sammut
78 fought for the lead with fellow Canadian Mike Lichty 84 for
many laps. Sammut, who lead from lap 8 to lap 42, only gave up
that lead when a hub broke on his car.
Just past
half way in the ISMA feature Russ Wood 29 battles teammate Bob
Magner 41, for several laps, for a top five spot.
Late in the
feature Dave Shullick Jr 61 fights with Russ Wood 29 for second
place at the time.
After
battling for a top five spot for several laps Justin Belfiore 98
finally gets by Bob Magner 41 on lap 42.
Lap 45 saw
the hard charging Chris Perley 11 get under Mike Lichty 84 to
take away third place from Mike.
With two
laps to go Dave Shullick Jr’s wing broke and Chris Perley closes
in to pass him for the lead and the win.
